These Terms of Service govern your use of the Falsonal website at falsonal.com (the "Site"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please don't use the Site.
These terms cover use of the Site itself. Participation in the actual tournament is governed by a separate document — see Terms & Conditions of Participation.

Falsonal is an independent, non-commercial event organiser based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The Site is operated by the Falsonal team. Throughout these terms, "we", "us", and "our" refer to Falsonal Events B.V. "You" refers to anyone visiting or using the Site.
Important: This is a free tournament for a card game. There is no gambling, no betting, and no real money involved. Participants do not pay entry fees or wager money. The event is for entertainment and competition only.
2. Use of the Site
You may use the Site for lawful purposes only. Specifically, you agree not to:
- Use the Site in any way that breaches applicable Dutch, EU, or international law.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site, its servers, or related systems.
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the Site in ways that exceed normal browsing — except for legitimate search engine indexing in accordance with our robots.txt file.
- Submit false or misleading information through any of our forms, including the registration form.
- Transmit any viruses, malware, or other harmful code through the Site.
- Use the Site to harass, abuse, or harm any other person.
3. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — text, graphics, logos, layouts, and underlying code — is the property of Falsonal or our licensors, and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or commercially exploit any content from the Site without our prior written permission.
UNO® is a registered trademark of Mattel, Inc. Falsonal is independently organised and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Mattel. Use of the UNO name and references to gameplay are nominative and descriptive — we discuss the game because we run a tournament for it, not because we represent the brand.
4. Registration
The Site allows you to register for the Falsonal UNO Championship through the registration form. By submitting that form, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are at least 18 years old. Registration is non-transferable. We reserve the right to cancel any registration that contains false information or violates these terms.
5. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available." We do our best to keep it running smoothly and free of errors, but we don't guarantee that it will always be available, error-free, or free from viruses. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Dutch law, Falsonal and its organisers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site. Our total liability for any direct damages will not exceed fifty euros (€50). If you live in a jurisdiction that doesn't allow these limitations, only the limitations permitted in your jurisdiction apply.
7. Third-party links
The Site may contain links to external sites operated by third parties. We don't control these sites and aren't responsible for their content, privacy practices, or the accuracy of their information. Linking to a site doesn't mean we endorse it.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be flagged in a notice on the homepage for at least seven days. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site, without notice, if you breach these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — will continue to apply.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any dispute arising from or related to these terms or your use of the Site will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Amsterdam, Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
